I haven't written anything more than about 250 words on the book I've been working on (that I mentioned before) for several days. I have however written more words with this book than I have ever written on any project. I'm at about 18000 words or so and the longest thing I had previously written was a NaNoWriMo attempt, which hit 14000 and which, every time I look at it, I don't remember anything I wrote and don't really have a desire to read it to find out. It was that good.
I'm glad I've come so far (relatively speaking), but not sure what to do at this point. I'm pretty sure how I want it to end, but I feel like there's this huge chasm from here to there that I have no idea how to fill. I think I don't know the characters or the world well enough. So my ideas for how to get out of this funk are as follows: copious note-taking and/or write the end now. Now, to actually do one or both of those things.

True story: I've been wanting to ask how this was going but I didn't know if that would be harmful to your writing process. But I am very interested!
I don't know how to write anything, but I would suggest writing the parts you already know and then figure out how to get there once you have that. You can always totally change it later.
