Since her birthday fell on a Wednesday, which is our usual park day for Life Learners, we brought cupcakes and goodie bags and a pinata to park day.
After park day, we went to Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix, where they tricked me into liking them on Facebook, and we rode around on go-karts and went down super long slides and rode a dragon roller coaster and such. I only have one picture of the rides because I was otherwise occupied, you know, riding stuff. And one picture of Irina dancing on the table, which was apparently the theme of the day. She had new "high shoes", you see.
I hung 7 balloons from the ceiling (I saw this on Pinterest) with a dollar in each and she popped them at the end of the day. I think it could be a fun new tradition for birthdays around here, but Saren says she would let the balloons live a full life and would never dream of popping them (she's always been that way with balloons).
Then we had some cake and went to bed. A good birthday, she said.

SEVEN? I'm sure you've miscounted.
I'm sorry, I must have heard you wrong. I thought you said she was seven. That is impossible, I agree with Annika.
Aside from your mistake, wish the birthday girl happy birthday for us!
SEVEN?! NOT THE BABY GIRL!!!
Aww. Happy Birthday, Irina!
