I helped Saren first bleach and then dye her hair recently. The first time I bleached it, it didn't take too well. I think I should have used the whole bottle of ...stuff, but the directions said I probably wouldn't need the whole bottle, so I didn't use it all. The second time was a little better, but still not terribly even. I'm not sure how to get it all even. But there were some VERY platinum blonde sections and when we dyed those (turquoise) they turned out the best. Overall, it looks pretty cool, but I'm just not sure how to get it evenly bleached and then evenly dyed after that. I felt like I had gotten pretty good coverage. Maybe I just needed more.
Here she is with her rattie. Below are two pictures I took while experimenting with my camera settings. The pink is totally not real.
I also bleached a bit of Harper's hair with some of the bleach that I had left after the second time with Saren's hair. Later on, she wants to add some bits of color. And I was thinking that I might do a bit of mine as well.
And, Irina wants pink. For that I think I may try using kool-aid.
Harper has been a writing machine lately. Sometimes she's just be itching to get to the computer, constantly coming up with ideas for whatever she is been working on. She still has her regular blog, which is here, and she started up a new blog, just for writing, which is here. Her enthusiasm and passion for writing are inspiring. I love watching her think about what she's writing and get excited about it and work through the problems. I'm sure she'd love to have some new readers.

I like the different tones! I think it looks neat. But I guess it all depends on how Saren likes it.
My hair is still not purple.
Also, Harper has so many stories! I really need to get caught up.
