Running Out of Boxes!!!!!

I've been packing! A lot! We had a ginormous pile of boxes, some from a strip mall dumpster, a bajillion from a friend who moved a while back and was keeping them in her garage forever and ever. And now I've got, like, eleven left. Most of them little itty bitty things. NOT GOING TO CUT IT. We went out today intending to dumpster dive for some more and found a bunch of empty dumpsters cuz, DUH, it's garbage day! Boxes=not something I want to purchase. I've never even understood why they sell them and what kind of people buy them (standard disclaimer: unless YOU buy them, you're obviously intelligent, good-looking, (a bit obtuse when it comes to buying something you can get for free), and handy with tools).

I am feeling stressed out. Looking around and wondering if I can get this all done by Friday evening, which may or may not be stupid considering we will still have access to this house even after that, for nobody knows how long because either the bank itself or our mortgage information has dropped off the face of the earth. There is still so much to do! This is why my stress dreams all involve packing! The stuff! It just multiplies and breeds even as I am trying to cram it into various movable containers!

POINT BEING. I am eating Little Debbie oatmeal marshmallow thingies (so gross! so yummy!) and drinking Jones soda under the assumption that doing so will probably make everything all right.

Try craigslist. I see lots of people offering moving boxes in the free section here and I imagine it would be the same for Vegas. Good luck! Have fun!!

Ms. Stephenie,
Can you please tell me where you got your blogger template, or give me the code for it?
Thank you!
Trisha

Hi Trisha! I started out with the denim template that blogger provides and then I made it have three columns with this tutorial.

http://www.threecolumnblogger.com/2008/09/three-column-denim.html

Then I just changed all the colors to what I liked on the fonts and colors tab under layout. I change them every so often when I get the urge. The header I made using the piknik website. Here is a tutorial showing how to make a header using piknik.

Does that help? Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks!
Right after I commented, I happened to find a layout pre-made that you copy into your HTML area. It was at blogcrowds.com.
So sorry that you looked all that up for me, just to find I got one!
Here's the blog if you want to look at it:

www.lvtkdblog.blogspot.com

It's the blog for the Taekwon-Do classes that I go to and I'm the moderator. And the only one who actually ever posts!

Hey Stephanie,

My husband works at Barnes and Noble (here in NC) and they are always giving away their boxes. I bet if you called your local B&N on Monday after they get a book shipment (like noonish) they would hold boxes for you! Just an idea....

Good luck on the move!

No problem, Trisha. The blog looks great!

I used to work at B&N a long time ago and I always used book boxes for moving. They were the best kind. Maybe I will try over there.

I used to work there too. That's where I met my husband! Ya, they have good boxes.
