Another Brother's Birthday

Today is my youngest brother's birthday. My family has a lot of birthdays in a little cluster.

Happy Birthday Sean!!!

All my brothers live in Portland now. I miss them. Did you know that two of my brothers have names that fit our baby-naming requirements? Interesting.

I never thought to ask - do letters from your middle names count? And if so, what are they?

Also, happy birthday to Sean! Sam was almost named Sean instead, but I didn't think it was his name.

No, they don't count. Though it would probably help a lot if they did. And when I say "they" I mean "it", because I don't have a middle name. Pat's is Michael and it would give us both an "M" and an "L", both good workable letters. If we come up with a great name with that fits except for having an M or an L, maybe I will just change the rules.

If you named the baby after your brother Sean, you could be Sspish. Or Spissh.

I don't have a middle name either! Well, I do now, because when we got married I changed my last name and stuck my maiden name in the middle. But I never had one before.
