What baby?

Today I got an email saying that the early bird deadline for the Life is Good conference is being extended until the end of January. I got all excited and thought, wow, now maybe we can afford to go! And then I remembered that money is not the reason we can't go, but the fact that I am due in May is the reason we can't go. This whole having a baby in May thing keeps slipping my mind. It guess it must be because we actually can't afford it, even if I weren't due right then. The money reason eclipses the baby reason in my mind because it's more immediate. We can't afford anything right now. I am rather bummed out about this. Not just about missing the conference, but about missing my opportunity to visit with my brothers as well.
