Well, that's the end of that. This morning the family man came by, test drove the RV, and made me an offer. I accepted and tonight we took the RV to him at his work (because of scheduling problems) on base (as a matter of fact, at the AFB hospital that Pat's dad used to work at). We sold it for $5000 less than we paid for it, so that works out to us paying $5000 to take three RV camping trips and figure out we don't really want an RV. Right now. Maybe. Probably. Definitely. We'd still like to have a pop-up in our future, by the way, but we need to get out of debt first and then save up some money to pay for it outright.
It was sad to come home after a quick grocery stop and not see the RV parked in front of the house. Still, overall, it feels better to have sold it. And it will feel really good to pay off a couple of credit cards.
And now, how to destroy a folding camp chair: back over it with a minivan, and then, (and this part is REALLY IMPORTANT), drive over it again, this time going forward. Works every time.
