We didn't get the new car yet, but we did pick one out which we are going to go back to buy this evening. If anybody has anything really terrible to say about Ford Windstars, tell me about it right now! We'll probably just go ahead and buy it regardless though, because I want a car that runs and that we fit into and I don't want to wait longer than tonight if at all possible and this is really looking like the best deal at the moment.
Harper's eye is completely better. By the time Pat came home with the eye drops (aside: I didn't understand the whole "antibiotic" issue either after I got over the intial alarm of what her eye looked like. Saren reminded me about the whole "put nee-nee in it and it will be healed issue, but that was moot, as you will see.), Harper's eye was about 60% back to normal. She was very hesitant about having anything put in her eye, even though she had been okay with the idea of it, so I just didn't do anything and it got better. Now I know.
We have no food and no car, but we do have money. I think we are going to brave the heat and walk to McDonald's for lunch. Yay? At least it's not pizza. You know, they're building a Walmart Superstore right down the street from our house. And I mean, literally, right down the street from our house. They're not going to be open for another couple of weeks or maybe a month or so, but right now, even though Walmart is so not my favorite place in the world, it would be so great to take a three minute walk to pick up some groceries that would last a couple of days instead of a fifteen minute walk to eat cardboard food that will last a couple of hours.

Ford Windstars are the safest and most reliable family transport vehicles there are!
I learned that from a Ford Windstar commercial!
