Money is Irritating

I've been wanting to buy in a more environmentally conscious sort of way, but am finding myself frustrated by the fact that environmentally conscious (conscious is starting to look like it's not a word anymore, maybe I'm spelling it wrong) products are overwhelmingly the more (much more) expensive choice.

I'm also irritated by the fact that even though I feel like we have an overabundance of stuff, I still feel like our stuff impels us to buy more stuff. Like to store it, and organize it, and to take care of it, and to accessorize it, and blah blah blah.

I'm also, also irritated by the fact that I keep having to dip into our savings (saying that I will replace it, of course) to pay for other essential (?) things. But, by god, we are moving to Oregon even if when that time comes we only have $5.00 to our name and we have to sell our souls to do it. By God!
